Week 7- Dancing On Ice Update

It was a night of high tension and drama due to some last minute changes on Dancing On Ice this week.

Former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies had a tough week in training as the routine designed for her by Jayne and Chris aggravated some old swimming injuries. So, controversially she made the decision to change the song to a slower number she felt more comfortable skating to. Sadly for Sharron the decision wasn’t a wise one and resulted in a score of just 16.  Jason in particular didn’t support Sharron’s change of song and labelled her a “rude brat” - ouch! Phillip later Tweeted of the night’s events: “My God, it was as frosty off the ice as it was on tonight!! Never known a show like it - sensational.”

“With regards to the frostiness, it’s never good to tell Olympic Gold medallists and international skating legends that you know better!!!” Sharron found herself in the Skate Off with Emily, and the judges voted unanimously to keep the Inbetweeners actress in the competition. Sharron said: “If we hadn’t changed the song, we wouldn’t have been able to make it to this point. I’ve had an amazing time and I’m definitely going to keep skating at the rink in Swindon.”

Week 7 turned out to be better for a couple of other skaters, including Danniella sporting a fetching beehive and Kieron, who appeared to be doing his best ‘Jedward’ impression! Jason said Danniella’s was a “fully committed performance” and he even scored her higher than the current leader Hayley.

There are just eight celebs left, who each week continue to get better and better, leaving us ALL guessing who’ll be the next to leave.
