Bye Bobby
Week 2 of Dancing on Ice saw the boys take to the ice - Gary, Danny, Bobby, Mikey Dr. Hilary, Kieron, and Jeremy all showcased the efforts of all their weeks of training, to varying degrees!
Actor Danny Young dazzled the judges and managed to score 18 - a fantastic first week score that leaves him just one place behind current leader Hayley Tamaddon. He’s shaping up to be a real contender and probably needs to keep an eye on Hollyoaks actor Kieron Richardson whose not-too-shabby performance saw him score an impressive 17.5. He admitted to feeling very nervous before his first performance on the ice but luckily his pal and DOI alumni Chris Fountain was on hand to dispense some advice.
On the other end of the spectrum Gary Lucy and Bobby Davro found themselves in the bottom two and had to perform an encore in the Skate Off. The judges favoured Gary so that meant that Bobby became the first male celebrity to leave this year’s Dancing on Ice. He was obviously disappointed to have had his DOI story cut short so soon but definitely plans not to hang up his skates any time soon. “I will keep skating and I’ve got a great new passion to enjoy with my daughter,” he told Holly and Phil.
