Holly’s Maternity Range
After the news broke live on X Factor about Holly’s pregnancy, she was asked by Littlewoods Direct to design her own maternity range just before Christmas 2008. So, with a very tight time timescale this meant things had to move a lot faster than usual!
Holly soon realised that there was a distinct lack of cool, contemporary clothes for pregnant women who still wanted to feel sexy during pregnancy, so after teaming up with the Littlewoods Direct designers she came up with a ‘capsule’ wardrobe covering almost every eventuality. Skinny jeans, a Little Black Dress, a Floral Tea Dress and a luxurious Waterfall cardigan were amongst the items they came up with which were all extensions of Holly’s everyday wardrobe. Never again would you find yourself expecting and without the perfect outfit to wear for that summer wedding, black tie event or christening!
Most of the pieces in Holly’s range are versatile enough to be worn well after pregnancy and Holly has admitted she’ll be wearing the white shirt from her collection long after her bundle of joy makes an appearance. As for us, well we’ve got our beady eyes on that Little Black Dress and we’re definitely not sporting a bump…!
