Bump at the Boat Race
So this week things have been a lot quieter, and I’d be lying if I said me and the bump weren’t enjoying it!
Dublin was wonderful. We stayed at the Shelbourne Hotel right in the town centre. It’s a beautiful hotel, steeped in history, JFK and Jackie O even stayed there. Dan ate his own body weight in oysters whilst I longingly watched!
The Tubridy Tonight show was really fun, Ryan the host couldn’t have made me feel more welcome and Louis Walsh came to support me as he lives only down the road from the studio. We caught up on X Factor gossip and both agreed we were going to have more fun than ever this year…I think I may even have convinced him to do a bit of nannying duty whilst on set!
We got home in time for the Boat Race on Sunday and it was glorious weather! Down by the river, sunning myself, tucking into fish and chips - truly is Britishness at its best… Well done to Oxford who won.
Celebrity Juice was extra fun this week as on my team I was joined by two friends of mine, Alex Zane and Heidi Range. Alex introduce me to the ‘Megging’ that’s the ‘male legging’ to you and me, TERRIFYING! Whilst Heidi was just her gorgeous, lovely self, trying to hide her blushes at some of Keith Lemon’s typical antics!
On a personal front, my roots are in dire need of a re-touch but apart from that all is good in the world of Team Pregnant!

Hi Holly.
Whenever I see a prenant women (had Dylan 7 months ago) I feel compelled to share 4 things from labour.
1. Pack a lot of nighties - I took 5 and used them all.
2. Tens machine got me through to 5cms.
3. Persue with gas and air it’s amazing.
4. Keep standing up even from when things start. I’m sure it made things quicker.
I just know birth was the most amazing thing and I’m glad I did it au natural.

Have to say CJ is much funnier than the sitcom FM that follows it, in my opinion.
By the way, when you said you were addicted to Kraft cheese, I immediately thought of the triangle versions, which would make sense if you needed extra calcium. But the slices are nice too - I like them toasted, when they sort of ‘inflate’ and go brown on top.

You enjoy these last weeks of pregnancy enjoy and then hold on to your socks. You will wonder how such a tiny being can change your life so much (for the better of course ) but gone is the me time.
You’ll make a lovely mum holly enjoy and get that Ferne on babysitting duty

I saw on Twitter that you’ve had your 1st NCT class. My baby’s 5 months old now and I’ve made the best friends imaginable from my NCT group. We try to meet up once a week, and it’s fab having people who are going through what you are. (Apart from anything else, it’s really reassuring to hear other babies crying cos in the early weeks you become convinced yours is the only one that screams that loud!)
Enjoy the classes. I was a real sceptic during mine but ended up being massively surprised how much they helped me and my partner during labour. I even managed the whole UFO thing up to the last few hours.
Oh….and there’s something weirdly fun at looking at a bunch of pregnant women wondering which baby will arrive first.

celeb juice was hillarious this week, glad your preganancy is going well, i have 3 weeks left till my baby is due, this is my 5th child, and its still as great as the first time - i would just say try and rest as much as you can before the birth, thats the only advice i would offer as everyone feels different etc during pregnancy etc. your mention of fish and chips has brought on a desire to go the chip shop ha ha !!

oh yeah and dame you, why didnt you have your own maternity clothing range with littlewoods this time last year lol…would have been a big help 4me as i didnt feel comfortable in anything i wore even though i was tiny all the way through my pregnancy….(my neighbours didnt even know i had a baby till he was 5weeks old lol. xx

Glad you enjoyed your weekend, you are going to be such a great mum, I think you are such a down to earth person and so beautifal! A normal pregnant women would look so drained and so tierd but you still manage to look amazing! how do you do it!? Looking great, really blooming now! Had my baby in March, just reaching the 6 week crying peak which is fun….
My tip for labour is an open mind, that way you can deal with anything that happens. I ended up having an emergency c-section but because I didn’t plan anything I was able to accept that was my way of doing it!! Good luck - it is amazing.xx
