In Bloom

‘Pregnancy’ and ‘fashion’ aren’t two words that you’d normally put together and a lot of you might think it’s all elasticated jeans and Homer Simpson-esque muumuus for the next 9 months if you’re expecting a baby.  But why shouldn’t you look as amazing (if not more so!) than you usually do when you’re expecting? It was this idea and a lack of decent, cool wearable maternity clothes that made Holly leap at the chance to design her own range, when she was approached by Littlewoods Direct just before Christmas. The results are seriously impressive, even if you’re not sporting a bump!

We first got a sneak preview of Holly’s range at The BRIT awards where Holly wore a purple dress taken from it and it caused quite a storm with the press who couldn’t believe she looked so great in a dress that cost just £35 and the Sun even called it “The credit crunch dress”! According to fashion experts, Holly’s empire cut dress, nipped in under the bust, is a great shape for pregnant women.

The full range will be available to pre-order from Tuesday 24th March from Littlewoods Direct.

Here’s what some of the press have made of Holly’s foray in to fashion:
